Men are very much threatened by the presence of women workforce in the office for the being framed against the charges of sexual harassment. Often the women are made the butt of jokes being the fairer sex and some very obscene sexual comments are being passed by the male colleague in the work environment, which is the clear harassment.  Therefore, as far as the harassment of the women is continued in the work area she prefer silence so as to maintain the peace in office, however, if the limits are being crossed and she is subject to sexual harassment then she should fight for her dignity and respect and under no circumstance she should repress the discrimination taking place against her in the public sphere. Often a woman silently surrenders to the harassment of pressure tactics of the male employer and from there only her tribulation starts.

If she protests she is threatened to be thrown out of the job and if she remain silent chances are there, that she may be subject to the sexual harassment. So, what should she do to maintain her dignity and self respect in her office?                                                                                        

1. She should remember that hard work always pays.
2. Sexual advancement she may give to her boss but in long term this may ruin her whole life.
3. If her boss is putting pressure on her to yield then she should take up the matter with the Human Resource Department. As the Multi National Companies are working in the direction to provide better and safe job environment free from harassment to the females working for them.

But Sexual advancement a way to upward and downward growth – these days women are foraying everywhere and hence the chances of sexual harassment is becoming real big, and there are woman who are using the tool of sex for getting favor in the organization. If she find that sexual discourse with the boss is the ladder to promotion she does not shy away from giving sexual experience to the boss, but if she finds that sexual encounter is not yielding any result then she may lodges the complaint of sexual harassment against the boss and brought the bad name for the company. 

These kinds of incident of harassment by woman are putting a blot in the image of women in general and enough to tarnish her image. This is proving detrimental for the women workforce in the organization as they are often labeled as characterless creature in the organization.  

Sexual harassment in the marital life – It may sounds like an oxymoron that how the sexual harassment is taking place in the married life. “In violence, we forget who we are” and that’s how the sexual harassment is becoming the part of marital life also. A wife has to become the sex object in front of her husband to satiate his desires. In satiation process she is often becomes the victim of sexual harassment.  

Sexual harassment is becoming more balanced as women are becoming educated and more aware about her right, so she is handling the situation in her home and work place better and saving herself from becoming the bait in the sexual exploitation scenario.
