Why we love roses and chocolates for Valentine’s Day so much?

As the Valentine’s Day approaches, we can see all the gift shops teeming with roses and chocolates. It seems like chocolates and roses have been associated with love since eternity. The finest way to say I love you is through them. So every lover sticks to them on Valentine’s Day. Lovers present each other with them to show their affection.

Roses are tender. Roses signify love. They add romance to the Valentine’s Day. Roses come in different colors which have their own special meanings. Red signifies love, passion, respect, courage. Though red is the most preferred color there are other colors which are also in rage. Yellow is for joy, friendship, and freedom.

Pink is for happiness, gratitude, appreciation and admiration. Cream signifies thoughtful, charming and gracious. Orange is for admiration, fascination, enthusiasm, and desire. White rose is for innocence, purity, secrecy and reverence. So you have to decide which color rose you are giving to your valentine on 14th.  I’ll be giving my valentine an orange rose this time as it will make him feel I am really passionate about him. And do not forget to enclose cards with message written on them like ‘with you its Valentine’s Day every day of the year’.

Speaking about Valentine’s Day how can we leave behind chocolates. Try imagining Valentine’s Day without chocolate. You will really feel something is missing. Chocolates add the sweetness to a relation on Valentine’s Day and it is thought that this sweetness will prevail into the coming future. You are a health conscious, then don’t try to end your craving for chocolates and treat yourself with dark, bitter variety, which is healthier and has less sugar. Keep in mind that chocolates are libido boosters. But there is a bit more for what we find chocolates irresistible. They act as magnesium shots whose lack can cause panic attacks and heightened anxiety. Leaving behind this entire technicality, we simply love chocolates since it is the best gift for someone you love.

Make your Valentine’s Day full of love and sweetness with roses and chocolates. I bet this love and sweetness would not die for a long time.
