What caught my attention for this topic is while skimming through the newspaper about the Tyra Bank’s statement that “Camera Does Lie”, and I was like why she is saying so? So, I decided to tread on that article a lil bit further and came to know about the controversy of being fat, I mean she was alleged by some of the tabloids that she has become fat.

So, my reaction was quite natural just like as yours, so what? But I was wrong, as Tyra was pretty serious about the allegation that she is preparing to strip in front of the camera to quash this rumor that she is not fat rather it the fault of the camera, which has showed her that way.

Okay before I was also charged from digressing from the topic, let pound on to the topic in length and breadth. I am going to tell you why you need to renew your gym membership if it’s on the verge of its lapse, and it is pretty much serious as some research is going on in this field.

It was come to the revelation in recent studies that even the mild elevations, in the weight front, may be taking you to the territory of dementia, to state it simply is the memory loss. So, with the progression of age you would at danger of inviting many detrimental things for your health.

What is this mild elevation? – This elevation means the increase in weight of the body, and this increase in the body weight is often a threshold below the danger of being a diabetic. So, better take care of weight. As this increase the risk of memory loss as your age increases.

Diabetes means – Elevated blood levels of the sugar glucose are harmful mainly because they can damage blood vessels throughout the body. Here it is very pertinent to mention that too much glucose means that too less glucose is reaching the body’s cell, which means the reduced activity of these cells.

How it affect the brain – This affect the brain because as the less glucose is reaching the body’s cell, so this is affecting the cell in hippocampus, the part of the brain responsible for learning and recalling new information. So which in effect will lead to the memory loss over a period of time in you and you would find it really hard to cope up with your day to day activity.

How to stay mentally sharp? – Exercise regularly and lose excess weight. This is the key and that the way you can cope up with thing easily. The researches say that a good workout helps the body process glucose more efficiently, which helps keep brain cells buzzing.

They have further suggested that the best booster is the weigh lifting, which tones muscles and helps move glucose into tissues.
