In the present time the celebrities are making every effort to hog the lime light by giving the fashion statements. They know as long as they are able to make statement in the glare of the media, they would be more in touch with the mass and this would support the mass popularity of these celebrities and which in term will bring in the work for earning the livelihood.   Fashion statement is all about the dressing style of these celebrities. Because the entertainment industry requires more of the fashion stuff as they are widely covering the style of these celebrities. The fashion stuff should be contemporary and hip so that it ignites the passion in the mass to go in for that particular brand and product.  Sometimes the fashion statement is more related to the statement given by the celebrities. They themselves make the controversial statement so that media covers these statements in big number.As there is a proverb that “What so wild as words are?”, therefore these celebrities knowingly make these statement. Sometimes these statements are so hip that it stirs the news rooms also and these come out of the fashion channels to the full fledged news channels.

But what these fashion statements are all about. Recently Indian film star Aamir Khan just after the release of his block buster movie “Rang De Basanti” made a statement against the state government that a hydro electric project should not be build over the land of the tribal population of the area. These statements were considered as the fashion statement and were criticized by the state political leaders in large number. However, this statement of the actor was covered on large scale by the television news channels in large number and Aamir Khan’s face was there in almost every channel of the country. 

Though here I am not specifically saying that his statement was against the development of the dam in the state but since the observation was coming from the big film star of the country so it was the fashion statement and the way it was covered by the media it emerged as the fashion statement. It was also said that it’s in fashion these days that film stars for hogging the limelight get into the public service. 

Therefore it is coming out that fashion statements are at time the calculated measure to notch the public profile though at times it may be one of the most deadly ways to go in for the in full blow. However, the fashion statements are there very much and they have to been used repeatedly by the people at the fashion world.
