Ingredients:
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
2 egg whites
3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
2/3 cup whole or slivered almonds, toasted
1/3 cup chocolate chips

Step 1: Line cookie sheet with parchment
paper. Preheat oven to 350 F (175 degrees C).
Step 2: In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder,
baking soda and salt.
Step 3: In a medium bowl, mix together eggs, egg whites and
vanilla extract.
Step 4: Gradually add egg mixture to flour mixture blending on
low. Toss almonds with chocolate chips then add to flour mixture and
blend just until combined.
