• It's disruptive.

   

• It's rude to talk on the phone while on a date, which makes your date feel ignored.

   

• It's embarrassing if one of your current or past girlfriends call you while out on a date.

   

• Phone calls are disruptive and disturbing to other people around you.

   

• If you're bringing your wireless telephone on a date to make yourself feel important, keep in mind that this may backfire on you.

   

• It could have a negative effect because of the above reasons.
